I am a fully qualified Cognitive Behavioural Therapist and a registered member of the BACP (reg number). I am registered with the majority of health insurance companies.

I graduated from the University of Wales with a level 7 Post Graduate Diploma in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy. Previous to this I Studied and obtained 6 years of BACP accredited courses in general psychotherapy for general mental health issues before specialising in CBT.

Since graduating in CBT I have gone on to obtain multiple specialist qualifications in chronic health related issues. I am fully trained and specialises in Graded Exercise Therapy for Fibromyalgia and CFS. I also trained and attended many courses at UCLH in the treatment of BBPV and Inner Ear disorders through vestibular rehabilitation. I also trained in the coping and management of neurological rehabilitation.

I am also fully trained in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy relating to chronic health conditions.

I trained and worked for years within the North Bristol NHS Trust building a robust foundation of experience in general mental health issues alongside chronic pain and fatigue management.

For the past 4 years I have been working in the private sector running two clinics of CBT one working with general mental health issues such as anxiety and depression and the other working with chronic health conditions such as fibromyalgia, CFS and chronic dizziness.

I am also a guest lecturer to training clinical psychologists at Bath University in the treatment of Chronic Fatigue Syndrome.

 

Pam Is described as a warm, compassionate and highly empathetic therapist by her clients. She has very positive feedback and is very dedicated to her client’s positive therapeutic outcomes.

Pam works in Cyncoed Consulting Rooms in Cardiff and takes consultant, GP and private referrals.  She also holds a clinic via Skype enabling her to work with both UK and worldwide based clients.
