About Me

Pam Fitzpatrick is a highly experienced specialist in chronic health management, offering remote therapy to individuals across the UK and internationally. She supports people living with a wide range of long-term health conditions, including chronic fatigue, persistent pain, and complex presentations where physical and mental health challenges intersect.
With a Level 7 Postgraduate Diploma in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) from the University of Wales, Pam brings both professional expertise and lived experience—having managed her own CFS and migraines—into her therapeutic work. Over the years, she has worked for the NHS as a psychologist and specialist in chronic fatigue, supporting many people living with CFS and other pain and fatigue conditions. This extensive experience allows her to offer a deeply compassionate, person-centred approach that recognises the unique challenges of living with chronic illness.
Pam specialises in complex cases where physical and mental health overlap. Her clients often face conditions that affect both body and mind, and she works collaboratively to address these interconnected challenges with sensitivity and care.
She works with individuals affected by conditions such as chronic migraine, regional pain syndromes, Functional Neurological Disorder (FND), Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS/M.E.), post-COVID syndrome, endometriosis, multiple sclerosis (MS), Ehlers-Danlos syndrome (EDS), and other long-term conditions that are sometimes not given enough research, understanding, or support—and where people can struggle to access the care they deserve. She has a particular passion for working with vestibular disorders, including Persistent Postural-Perceptual Dizziness (PPPD), and incorporates gentle vestibular rehabilitation techniques into therapy when appropriate.
A key focus of Pam’s work is a compassion-focused approach, helping clients accept and adapt to their condition while striving for a life that feels as full and meaningful as possible. She supports people in managing their symptoms, making space for difficult emotions, and reconnecting with what matters most to them—while acknowledging the significant challenges their condition can present.
Pam integrates therapeutic approaches such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), energy management and pacing strategies, and trauma-informed care to create a safe, responsive therapeutic environment. She also provides professional training for physiotherapists and clinical psychologists working with chronic health conditions.
Through her fully remote practice, Pam offers flexible, accessible therapy to people across the UK and internationally—particularly those who are housebound, in rural areas, or seeking support from the comfort of home.
Pam is also a guest lecturer, training clinical psychologists in the treatment of Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, and also trains physiotherapists in management of CFS/M.E.
Pam is described as a warm, compassionate, and highly empathetic therapist by her clients. She has very positive feedback and is dedicated to her client’s positive therapeutic outcomes in both psychological and physical well-being.
Pam takes consultant, GP, and private referrals. She holds a clinic via Skype enabling her to work with both UK and worldwide based clients.
Prior to working in the healthcare sector, she qualified with an BEng(Hons) from Leeds University and an MSc in Acoustics and Physics and subsequently worked as an Environmental Behavioural Change Strategist before then embarking on her current career path.
Personally, Pam has undergone her own journey of severe CFS/M.E management and recovery which inspired her to make the change in her career. She is now a very passionate advocate of helping other chronic pain and fatigue sufferers.
Pam lives in the Vale of Glamorgan and is a mum to 4 daughters. She enjoys travelling, latin culture, and taking time to explore the countryside.
